§ 30-31. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Participants means the counties entering into an agreement to form the authority.

The act means the Regional Jail Authorities Act (O.C.G.A. § 42-4-90 et seq.).

The agreement means an agreement dated June 15, 1995, between and among the county and each of the participants.

The authority means the Lower Chattahoochee Regional Jail Authority.
