§ 54-34. Enforcement.

  • (a)

    If the operator fails to abide by the terms and conditions of this article, the county may issue an immediate stop work order. If the operator fails to abide by the stop work order, the operator shall pay a penalty up to $1,000.00 per day for each day the operator proceeds after the delivery of the stop work order, and, in addition, the operator shall pay all expenses the county incurs in the enforcement of this article, including, but not limited to, court costs and reasonable attorney's fees.

    (b)

    The county sheriff is authorized to assist the county in the enforcement of this article.
